VAN DEN BOSCH & VAN RANST BV has acquired testing equipment to detect CVD and HPHT lab-grown diamonds in loose diamonds and large parcels of any size.
VAN DEN BOSCH & VAN RANST BV will comply with the testing machine’s producer’s conditions for usage and maintenance recommendations to maintain highest operational quality of the machine.
All relevant personnel has received qualified training to operate the testing machine and to ensure smooth and uninterrupted testing during all diamond buying and selling cycles.
Diamonds purchased and diamonds sent back by customers after examination are tested on a random basis upon receipt of the diamonds. The following principles apply:
All flows of tested stones will be segregated from non-tested stones
All flows of stones identified as natural diamonds will be segregated from “refers” stonesand stones identified as non-natural diamonds by the screening machine.
“Refers” stones may be further tested in a professional diamond laboratory or will be sendback to the supplier.
Non-natural stones will be sent back to the supplier.
All diamonds sold for specific customers will be tested when final parcels are constituted to ensure that no changes occurred either to original parcels or to mixed parcels.
At regular intervals, screening and testing of stock-items may take place on a sample and ad-random basis.
Upon simple request, VAN DEN BOSCH & VAN RANST BV will provide test- and screening reports to its customers.
